Clark County Jail Roster
The official Clark County inmate records path begins on the Clark County Sheriff's Office website, where the Inmate Lookup menu opens a sheriff-hosted frame for JailTracker. The roster is operated for the Clark County Jail in Kahoka, the sheriff-run facility used for local bookings, pretrial custody, short county sentences, and holds accepted by the sheriff. Sheriff Shawn Webster is identified by both the sheriff site and the county government sheriff page as the county sheriff. The same official sources list the jail and sheriff contact line as 660-727-2911.
Clark County inmate records should be read by custody system. JailTracker is the local county jail channel. It is the best starting point for a person booked after an arrest by a deputy, city police officer, state trooper, or other agency using the jail. It does not replace Missouri Case.net for filed court charges. It also does not replace the Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search for a sentenced state offender, the BOP Inmate Locator for federal prison custody, or ICE's Online Detainee Locator System for immigration detention.
The roster app did not expose a live count or refresh schedule during static research. Newly booked people may not appear at once, and released people may not stay searchable for a known period. If a recent booking is missing, the fallback is the jail phone line, the sheriff contact email, or a Missouri Sunshine Law request for a booking record or arrest report.
Use Clark County JailTracker
The sheriff's inmate lookup page at Clark County Inmate Lookup loads the JailTracker roster for Clark County, Missouri. The roster is a web app, so a slow load, blank screen, or captcha prompt can occur before results appear. Start with the person's legal last name. Add a first name only when the roster returns too many results or when common names need to be narrowed.
- Open the sheriff inmate lookup frame and allow the JailTracker application to load before searching.
- Enter the last name first, then add the first name if the result set is too broad.
- Use any current-inmate or release filter shown by the app, because the client includes current-only and released-since controls.
- Open the inmate profile and compare the name, booking date, arresting agency, charges, bond fields, case number, and holds before relying on the record.
- If the app does not load or the person should be in recent custody, call Clark County Jail at 660-727-2911.
The sheriff inmate lookup frame is shown in the captured roster path below.
This screenshot matches the official access path from the sheriff site to the JailTracker roster, not a separate commercial inmate database.
Clark County Roster Fields
Static inspection of the JailTracker client exposed several Clark County jail roster search controls, even though the live application shell did not return full results through a static fetch. The search fields below should be treated as the documented public interface discovered in the roster client, not as a promise that every option appears in every session. Captcha may appear before a search or detail view.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Last Name | Text | Unspecified | Primary name search field exposed as lastNameSearchText. |
| First Name | Text | Unspecified | Use to narrow a name search when the last name returns more than one inmate. |
| Search Type | Option/control | Unspecified | The client exposes SearchType and search-type options, but static capture did not show all choices. |
| Released Since | Option/control | Unspecified | Used when released-person searching is enabled by the roster. |
| Current inmates only | Checkbox/toggle | Unspecified | The client exposes current-only controls for limiting results to active custody. |
| Captcha | Text/image | Conditional | Captcha endpoints and validation are present in the client. |
Clark County Inmate Profile
A Clark County inmate record can include more than a name and booking date. The JailTracker client exposes profile modules for offender images, charges, cases, holds, special fields, and VINE links. A live sample inmate profile was not captured, so the table keeps the wording tied to fields visible in the public client rather than inventing a complete local sample.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Offender Image | Booking photo field when Clark County publishes an image for that profile. |
| Name | First, middle, and last name fields in the roster client. |
| Agency | Agency name or friendly name tied to the custody record. |
| Original Book Date/Time | Booking or intake time for the jail record. |
| Final Release Date/Time | Release timing when a released record is visible. |
| Arrest Number / Jacket | Internal booking or offender identifiers used by the jail system. |
| Charges | Charge description, arrest code, level, court type, counts, status, and related fields when enabled. |
| Bond/Fine | Bond type, bond amount, and fine amount if those fields are displayed. |
| Holds | Hold type, reason, date, expiration, contact, phone, sentence, or other hold information. |
Clark County Custody Channels
Clark County inmate records split across several systems because one arrest can create jail, court, state, federal, and notification records. Use JailTracker first for current county custody. Use the sheriff's weekly arrest reports when the question is date-based and tied to an arrest week. Use Case.net when the prosecutor has filed a public case. Use Missouri DOC after a state transfer. Use BOP or ICE only when the custody is federal or immigration based.
| Custody or Record Type | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Current county jail custody | Clark County JailTracker roster | Pretrial detainees, local arrests, short county sentences, and holds accepted by the sheriff. |
| Arrest by week | Sheriff weekly arrest-report PDFs | Arrest reporting by date range, not proof of current custody. |
| Filed criminal case | Missouri Case.net | Charges, case number, hearings, docket entries, and public case status. |
| State sentence or supervision | MODOC Offender Search | Active Missouri DOC offenders, probationers, and parolees, not discharged offenders. |
| Federal prison custody | BOP Inmate Locator | Federal inmates from 1982 to present. |
| Immigration detention | ICE ODLS | Immigration detainee search through the official ICE locator. |
| Custody notification | Missouri VINELink | Status and notification access where participating records are available. |
County vs. state custody: Clark County JailTracker is for the local jail stage. Once a sentenced felony offender moves to MODOC, the county roster is no longer the primary lookup.

For an older booking record, missing roster entry, or booking detail that is not published online, contact the sheriff's office by phone or email and describe the record sought. A useful request gives the full name, approximate arrest date, date of birth if known, and whether the request is for the roster record, arrest report, booking photo, or jail custody confirmation.
Clark County Booking Timeline
A typical Clark County booking starts with an arrest by the sheriff's office, a city police agency, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, or another authorized agency. The person is transported to the sheriff-operated jail for identity checks, property inventory, booking photo and fingerprints when required, medical or safety screening, and entry into JailTracker if the jail publishes the booking. The roster may show booking charges before the prosecutor files formal court charges.
Timing is not guaranteed. Clark County does not publish a roster refresh schedule. A new arrest may be in intake, under review, or waiting for data entry before it appears online. Case.net has a different timing path because it depends on court filing. The county clerk notes that some tickets may take up to 25 days to appear in Case.net, but that ticket note should not be applied to jail roster timing.
- Booking
- Jail intake after arrest, including identity and custody processing.
- Charge
- An alleged offense listed by the jail or court.
- Detainer
- A hold from another agency that may block release even when a local bond is posted.
- PR bond
- Personal-recognizance release without paying the full cash bond amount.
Clark County Visitation Records
The sheriff's official visitation page states that Clark County Sheriff's Office visitation is by CIDNET video visitation only. It lists the video window as daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and says the sheriff's office or any staff member may refuse visitation to anyone. No in-person public visit schedule, attorney visit schedule, dress code, or lobby rule page was found in the official materials.
| Facility | Type | Schedule | Source Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clark County Jail | CIDNET video visitation only | Daily, 7:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. | Official sheriff visitation page. |
| In-person public visits | Not published as available | Not located | Official page points to video visitation. |
| Attorney/professional visits | Confirm with sheriff | Call 660-727-2911 | No separate attorney visitation page found. |
Inmate money is handled through Access Corrections. The sheriff inmate-services page says deposits can be made online through Access Corrections or by phone at 866-345-1884, and the offender's inmate number is required. Local deposit fees, lobby kiosk options, mail rules, phone vendor details, and commissary order days were not published by the sheriff pages reviewed.
| Method | Vendor/Channel | Required Information | Local Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online deposit | Access Corrections | Offender inmate number | Not published locally |
| Phone deposit | 866-345-1884 | Offender inmate number | Not published locally |
| Lobby/kiosk/cash | Not located | Not located | Not located |
The official visitation page documents the CIDNET-only rule and hours.
Because visitation and deposit rules can change faster than roster fields, confirm current custody before scheduling a visit or sending funds.
Request Clark County Records
Missouri law treats arrest and incident reports as open records under RSMo 610.100, with limits for investigative reports and protected details. Missouri's open-records policy is also reflected in RSMo 610.011. Clark County did not publish a dedicated sheriff records-request form in the reviewed sources, so the practical request path is the sheriff phone number, sheriff email, or a mailed request to the jail address.
Ask for a specific record. A request for "all inmate records" is harder to process than a request for the booking record, arrest report, custody dates, or booking photo for a named person and an approximate arrest week. Juvenile records, sealed cases, expunged matters, active investigations, and safety or security information may be withheld or redacted. No official Clark County Sheriff's Office mobile app was located, so there is no app-only inmate roster to add to the access chain.
Note: Confirm the inmate number and custody status with Clark County Jail before sending money, scheduling video visitation, or relying on a bond field.
